P.E.T.S. framework: Play, Educate, Train, Socialize
Continuous enrollment and flexible class scheduling
Designed for safe socialization during key development windows

This program is designed specifically for puppies between eight weeks and five months old. It combines private instruction, small group classes, and safe supervised socialization so owners get individual coaching while puppies build confidence around people, sights, sounds, equipment, and other young dogs.

The program is built around the P.E.T.S. curriculum: Play, Educate the owner, Train the puppy, and Socialize. The goal is not only basic obedience. It is to help a new puppy become a stable, confident family dog while teaching the owner how to prevent future behavior problems.

Puppies train in a safe, sanitary, supervised facility environment and learn early confidence, handling, manners, household structure, and calm behavior around visitors.

Dogs older than five months should start with Level 1 instead of the Puppy Program.

Play helps puppies develop social and physical skills they will use for the rest of their lives. It also gives them healthy physical and mental stimulation.

Owner education is central because the puppy lives at home with the family. The program trains the owner to train the puppy, so the work continues after each session.

Training can start as early as eight weeks. Early structure helps make a puppy safer, easier, and more fun for everyone to be around.

  • Play: healthy social development, movement, confidence, and energy release
  • Educate: owner coaching so the training carries into daily home life
  • Train: early obedience beginning as young as eight weeks
  • Socialize: supervised exposure to other puppies, adult humans, new sights, and new sounds

First private lesson

The first private lesson gives the owner and puppy one-on-one coaching before moving into group classes.

  • Proper and effective puppy management techniques
  • How to structure the relationship so the puppy looks to the owner as leader
  • The Invisible Leash® four-word communication system
  • How to stop unwanted puppy behavior fast

Program details

Training starts with one private session at the facility. After that first lesson, owners can schedule the four group training classes, register for puppy open play, and receive access to the online course.

Current puppy class times listed by the school are Mondays at 11:30am, Tuesdays at 5:45pm, and Saturdays at 11:30am.

While enrolled, puppies can also attend free half-hour Puppy Open Play Sessions, currently offered Mondays at 5:15pm and Saturdays at 12:15pm.

Program questions

What to know before you start.

Can my puppy start before all shots are complete?

Yes. The program is designed for puppies between eight weeks and five months, with cleaning protocols and class structure built around that age range.

Is this only basic obedience?

No. The goal is obedience plus confidence, socialization, handling, prevention of future behavior problems, and owner education.

What if my puppy is very timid?

The school keeps classes small and has a special area for very tiny or shy puppies during off-leash play. For most of class, the puppy remains right by the owner's side.
